Privacy Notice

This notice explains what personal data Loop-You collects, how we use it, and your rights. We try to keep it plain. If anything is unclear, email hello@loop-you.com.

1. Who we are

Loop-You is a pre-launch wellness app built in Cardiff, UK. The data controller is the founder. Contact: hello@loop-you.com.

2. What we collect

When you join the waitlist, we collect:

Your name
Your email address
Your age range (e.g. 18–20)
Your main interest (e.g. running, food ideas)
What would make you open Loop-You every morning

We do not collect health data, location, payment details, or anything else at this stage.

3. Why we collect it

We use this data to:

Send you updates about Loop-You's launch and beta invitation
Understand who is interested in Loop-You, so we build it better

Our legal basis is your consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), given by submitting the waitlist form.

4. Who we share it with

We use Formspree (a form-processing service) to receive your submission and email it to us. Formspree stores your data securely in line with their privacy policy. We do not share, rent, or sell your data with anyone else.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your waitlist data until you ask us to delete it, or until Loop-You is no longer operating. If we shut down before launch, all waitlist data is deleted.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

Access the data we hold about you
Correct any inaccurate data
Delete your data (the "right to be forgotten")
Withdraw your consent at any time
Object to processing
Lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@loop-you.com. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Children

Loop-You is not intended for children under 16. If you are under 16, please do not submit the waitlist form.

8. Cookies and tracking

The Loop-You landing page does not use cookies or tracking pixels.

9. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect any change. We will email waitlist members if changes are significant.
